Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress who is well-known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s TV show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she started her acting career on stage in Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. In 1956, she made her big break with a performance on Broadway along with Li'l abner. The singer also released her debut album, titled It's Time to Tina in the same year. Louise debuted on the screen in Hollywood as God's Little Acre, a film that was released in the year 1958. She played Griselda, a character in the film. At the time, she joined the Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection to Lee Strasberg as his student. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour managed to juggle between Broadway as well as Hollywood portraying somber character as opposed her perceived image as an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary but she also made a mark as a successful television director with several series including Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family then moved to Toronto for her early years. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and has remained to Toronto since then.
